Version 1.9.109 of the Custody Note desktop app for Windows and Mac came out on 29 September 2026. Here's what changed.
- Home: Free during beta users see a friendly “start your first attendance” card instead of a licence lock screen; paid Store installs can still email or paste a licence key
- Licence: Email my licence key recovery is easier to find from Home and Settings (for installs that hit Invalid licence)
- Welcome setup: DSCC PIN is optional. Skip the wizard anytime and finish details later in Settings
- Invite a colleague: share your personal https://custodynote.com/r/… link from Home (after your first finalised or exported note) and from Settings → Help
- Reliability: daily usage pings and trial-started stats use firm-friendly network settings (system proxy) and retry more reliably
If you already have Custody Note installed, you can use the in-app auto-update. Otherwise, download the latest version. Every release is listed in the full changelog.
