Release v1.9.71
Custody Note v1.9.71 — updates for criminal defence professionals using the desktop attendance note app on Windows and macOS.
- Session lock blanker can no longer be dismissed when client or case content is on screen
- Database flushes to disk on lid close / OS lock and when finalising a record, so the last note is not lost
- Backups folder is created automatically if missing (scheduled backups no longer skip quietly)
- Mac keyboard shortcuts use Cmd (Windows still uses Ctrl); Help labels match
- Settings sync no longer uploads API keys, QuickFile credentials, DSCC PIN, or scratchpad text; Help and security docs state licence-key escrow honestly
