CustodyNote Anywhere
Structured police station attendance notes for Mac, Chromebook, Windows and tablets — planned as an offline-capable browser app.
CustodyNote is currently available as a Windows desktop app. We are now exploring a browser-based version designed to work across modern devices, including MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops, iPads and Android tablets.
CustodyNote Anywhere is not yet released. Registering interest helps us decide which platforms and features to prioritise.
Why CustodyNote Anywhere?
Many criminal defence professionals work across different devices. Some use MacBooks, Chromebooks or tablets. Others work on firm-issued laptops where installing desktop software is difficult or restricted.
A browser-based, installable progressive web app (PWA) could make structured police station attendance notes more accessible — while keeping the same professional workflow you expect from CustodyNote.
CustodyNote is a structured note-taking and attendance-record tool for criminal defence professionals. It does not provide legal advice.

- Is CustodyNote Anywhere available now?
- Not yet. The current CustodyNote product is the Windows desktop version. CustodyNote Anywhere is a planned browser-based version and this page is to register interest.
- Will it work on Mac?
- The aim is to support Mac through a modern browser/PWA version, rather than requiring a separate Mac-only app.
- Will it work on Chromebook?
- The aim is to support Chromebook through a browser-based version, subject to testing and browser storage limitations.
- Will it work offline?
- The planned design is offline-capable, so that notes can continue to be created where internet access is poor. Offline functionality will be tested carefully before release.
- Will my client notes be stored in the cloud?
- The intended first version is local-first, meaning notes are saved on the user’s device. Optional cloud backup or sync may be considered later, but only with appropriate safeguards.
