Custody Note v1.9.49 — updates for criminal defence professionals using the desktop attendance note app on Windows and macOS.
- Cross-device sync: automatic encryption key recovery from cloud when opening the app on a second computer — fixes records not appearing because each PC had its own key
- Cross-device sync: primary device uploads key escrow after push so other computers can decrypt synced records
- Cross-device sync: faster background sync (30s poll, 3s debounce) and longer push timeout for slow networks
- Cross-device sync: pulls all pending remote records in batches when catching up after long offline periods
- Cross-device sync: diagnostics show API URL, licence, and master key status (Ctrl+Shift+D or __cnSyncDiag in dev)
- Website sync API: pull returns up to 200 records per request with hasMore for large backlogs
