Custody Note v1.9.72 — updates for criminal defence professionals using the desktop attendance note app on Windows and macOS.
- Credential-free session lock no longer dead-ends when no recovery/admin password is set and a case is open
- Sensitive blanker offers Quit Custody Note (real app quit) and Unlock this session (with confirm), then prompts to set a recovery password
- Empty screens still offer Dismiss; password lock is unchanged when a credential exists
- Session blanker never blocks Cmd+Q / Quit menu / Alt+F4; Quit always reaches main-process app.quit with a forced exit safety net
- Database flush on lock and quit is time-bounded so a stuck disk write cannot wedge the app
