Custody Note v1.9.89 — updates for criminal defence professionals using the desktop attendance note app on Windows and macOS.
- Footer status honesty: stop showing panic “Local only — check sync” when the outbox is clear and pulls succeed (including received=0 steady state) — sticky default lastPush.ok=false and leftover session errors no longer force an unhealthy chip
- Backup footer: after a successful quick backup, do not keep “Backup queued” solely because hourlyDirty is still set for the next generational run — show Backed up; real queue / degraded / folder-missing states still surface
- Managed AWS entitlement chip: rename Local only → Local backups (informational), so it no longer collides with sync health wording
- Unit + data-safety tests for healthy vs failure footer chips (footerStatusChips)
