Example Attendance Notes Gallery (Fictional Training)

By . Published . Updated .
Criminal defence solicitor in England and Wales. General guidance on police station work. It isn't legal advice.

Three fully worked, clearly labelled fictional examples for solicitors and accredited police station representatives in England and Wales. Use them in training to see good separation of disclosure, instructions, advice (with reasons), representations, interview summary, and outcome — not as real cases or as a guarantee of Legal Aid Agency payment.

Gallery — all examples are fictional

Fictional training example only. All names, places, officers, and facts are invented. Not a real case, client, or police force. This layout does not guarantee Legal Aid Agency payment or audit acceptance.

These examples complement the police station attendance checklist, the attendance note template (UK), and how to write attendance notes. For PACE limits and Legal Aid escape fees, use the PACE detention clock and escape fee calculator. For narrative guides (not full notes), see scenario guides.

Sources last checked: 2026-10-05. PACE references use Code C 2023. LAA references use the 2025 Standard Crime Contract Specification (Version 2).
